Jerry Scott has spent more than 40 years in the business of development and sales. With a mindset to be different, he started this process at 23 years old, making the decision to be a true partner with his clients, and his passion continues in creating a brand that will make people want to do business with him and be repeat customers, no matter the industry. With the knowledge that his partners are driven as well, he continues to maximize opportunities to share in the profits and help them eliminate risks, showing them how to replicate successful endeavors.
In 2008, it became clear that the business atmosphere was changing. With younger generations going cashless and the need for processing services was growing, Jerry began traveling through the state building connections through cold calling businesses. Staying true to his partner mentality, Jerry infused that mindset into his processing business by offering payment terminals to those businesses at no cost. While there had been no predictions of a global pandemic, those years have spiraled payment processing with enterprises relying on internet services.
With a resolve to keep business moving forward in the changing world, Jerry has imparted his knowledge with others through consulting with other teams and industries.
As many other areas of life evolved with the pandemic, Jerry and his close friend and mentor, J. Chad Wolfe, expanded upon their business ventures, launching a real estate development company. Merchant Pro, Wolfe Capital, and Wolfe Holdings emerged out of a clear need, with the pair receiving multiple requests a week from other business owners seeking help in achieving higher profit margins while also decreasing expenses.
The opportunities within real estate expanded again when Jerry was asked to become an investing partner in a multi-unit real estate transaction. Through this, he discovered a passion for managing and rehabbing properties, as well as preparing them for sale. This enthusiasm led Jerry and Chad to form WOLSCO Properties, allowing them to add real estate development, investing, and consulting to their portfolio. With all of the combined experiences, they have emerged as premier developers for “Made Ready Properties.”
JK Scott Capital LLC was formed to incorporate Merchant Pro payment processing, real estate properties, and business consulting.
Jerry resides in Anderson, Indiana, with his wife, Lori, where he is the father of two and grandfather to six.

Chad did his undergrad at Franklin College where he played football. He then earned an MBA in Finance from the Indiana University Kelly School of Business.
Chad began his career in financial services with Morgan Stanley and Charles Schwab before moving to institutional money management as a fixed income trader with Conseco Capital Management.
In 2004 Chad left the corporate world to pursue his true passion as an entrepreneur. He founded Wolfe Diversified LLC. Wolfe Diversified acquired ESC Promotions that same year.
ESC Promotions was a pioneer in school discount card fundraising. It was also one of the first companies that used large format plastic print machines to produce plastic all sports passes. Over Chad’s tenure with ESC promotions the company grew to become one of the largest national producers of plastic all sports passes.
ESC went on to invent a simple software that would scan passes at school sporting events. This software evolved into a full school payments and gate management system called TickeTracker and PayK12. When Chad sold Wolfe Diversified in 2016 its products were in schools across most of the United States.
As a true Entrepreneur Chad began working on his next business. In 2017 him and a partner founded WolfeRich Insurance Group. WolfeRich is a full-service retail and commercial insurance agency. Through a series of acquisitions and strong organic sales growth WolfeRich quickly grew into a leading agency. After a fast start and strong sales growth Chad sold his portion of the business to his partner in 2019.
As a serial entrepreneur Chad started and exited businesses in different industries. One thing that stayed consistent was his love of real estate. Chad was a co-founder of 53rd Street Secure Storage. 53rd Street Secure Storage was a locally owned and operated state-of-the-art, multi-purpose self-storage facility. It opened its doors in Anderson, Indiana on October 15, 2006. It was later sold to the Charlotte North Carolina based Go Store It.
Through his holding company Wolfe Capital Investments LLC Chad acquired residential and multifamily rentals over the years. Chad and his business partner now own 200 plus rentals in Anderson and Muncie Indiana.
Chad is also the founder and co-owner of MakeReady. Over years of owning properties and struggling to find reliable contractors Chad started PNB Restorations. PNB was originally formed to service and turn Chad and his Partners properties. Chad quickly identified that they weren’t the only real estate investors having issues with contractors.
Driven by demand of other investors PNB decided to open its doors to outside business. PNB Restorations now works with investors, owners and property managers doing maintenance, turns and fix and flips.
During this time Chad began investing with his good friend and co-founder of the MakeReady Club, Jerry Scott. Jerry built a very successful payment processing business and was looking to invest in real estate. Chad and Jerry had been friends for years, so they decided to invest in a multi-unit property in Anderson Indiana. The first project they acquired, updated and sold in two months ended up being a home run and they have been investing together under their company Wolsco Properties ever since.
Chad and Jerry decided it was time to share with others the process they use to find, finance, fix and flip or rent properties. This was the birth of The MakeReady Club. The MakeReady Club allows investors access to Chad and Jerrys proven successful process. The goal of the MakeReady club is to help investors build generational wealth through real estate investing.
